Day 5: Walbran River to Camper Bay

Day 5 从Walbran River(53公里处)到Camper Bay (62公里处),全长9公里

从第5天起,每天的里程越来越少,但却越来也难走。
这一天都是在浓密的树林中穿行,不但布满了一个又一个沼泽和泥潭,而且还是“梯子”大战。我感觉是这7天中最累的一天。

梯子直上直下,每个梯子有几十阶,共有7叠。我们要先下7叠,来到桥边,过桥后我们马上要上一百多阶木梯到达对面的山坡上。那些木梯子,横木之间有些间隔宽些,其他几位身高腿长,一脚一阶。而我就不行了,一脚一阶非常吃力,而且迈了几阶,曾经韧带拉伤的右腿膝盖就承受不住了,只得依靠左腿膝盖使劲的顶住横木,双手用力平衡,来移动右脚,前几天爬木梯时已经将左腿膝盖磨的红肿、疼痛,只得贴上一圈创口贴来减少摩擦。

树林中盘根错节,每一步都要小心,有时登山杖被缠住,有时被枯藤绊住。

有时我们在烂泥潭里,一脚踩下去,深的地方会淹没膝盖的,只得踮着脚尖跳着从一个树节跳到另一个树节。记得经过一片烂泥塘,我走在最前边,踩在一节树桩上,突然脚底一滑,身体失去重心向一边倒去,原来这块树桩是悬浮在泥浆上的,好在我反映较快,两脚紧捣,踏入泥潭,淤泥没至膝盖,身体总算保持平衡没有摔倒。

呵呵,又要过cable car了,现在已经很有经验了。

当然trail上也有那种用木板铺就的小径,在阳光的照耀下,静悄悄的木板小径一直通向远方。
