Backpacking 是我最喜欢的户外活动之一。背起行囊，穿行于崎岖小径、丘陵河谷之间，在美丽的湖畔露营，观日出日落、听鸟鸣松风，仿佛与大自然融为一体。
终于盼来了期待已久的长周末，安排了今年的第一次Backpacking。
在南安省有这样一大片森林 - Ganaraska Forest，林木茂密，沟壑纵横，碧水湖泊。Ganaraska Hiking Trail 长近400公里，连接着Port Hope, Barrie, Orillia and the Bruce Trail，一直向西北延伸到georgian bay。
这个长周末我们一行8人背着行囊，走了其中的Devil's Lake to Wolf Lake 这一段trail。
在Ganaraska Trail Guide 里对这一段Wilderness section Trail 有这样的描述：
"Rugged terrain! Challenging! For very experienced hikers only, Do Not hike this section alone"
看来走这段trail 会是满有意思的。
事实证明的确如此。
Devil's Lake parking lot 离35号公路不远，如果你开车去阿刚昆走过35号公路，这一段也是非常有名的赏枫路线。这里大片的树林，众多的湖泊：Gull Lake, Devils Lake, Sheldon Creek, Cooney Lake, Victoria Lake, Wolf Lake, Loon Lake.
